In our practice we strictly adhere to the Code of Ethics developed by the Australian Institute of Interpreters and Translators Inc., AUSIT.

The Code defines the principles and values guiding the decisions the translating professionals make in their practice. The principle of Confidentiality requires us to maintain confidentiality and not to disclose information acquired in the course of our work.

The other values and principles covered by the Code of Ethics are Professional Conduct, Competence, Impartiality, Accuracy, Clarity of Role Boundaries, Maintaining Professional Relationships, Professional Development and Professional Solidarity. As a small business, we are not required to comply with the Privacy Act 1988. However, as a matter of best practice, we take all reasonable effort to protect any personal information we acquire in the course of our business.
